I was going to do my usual Sunday fitness ride but I woke up to about 1 to 2 inches of snow. I wanted to ride the Fantom 29 in the snow but it was not to be.Maybe next time!

This blog is my evaluaton of the Motobecane Fantom 29 mtb from bikesdirect. Bikes from bikesdirect seem like a good value but there are few owner reviews on the web. Most comments found are from people who have no actual experience on Motobecane bikes. These commenters often advise against buying a bike online and going to your local bike shop (LBS). I do not work for Motobecane, bikesdirect or any other bike company. I am an engineer at the local power company.
