After my odyssey at Blue Marsh Lake, I thought I should have an identification with my emergency contact numbers on it. If I got hurt I would want to make sure there was no delay to contact home.
On August 30, 2008 at 2:29 PM I ordered a RoadID wrist band. I included my name, home town, 3 emergency contact numbers and my blood type (O negative). I ordered the yellow wrist band. It was only $19.48 including shipping with a $2.00 discount coupon that I received by email.
I received the RoadID on September 5, 2008 and will use it always when riding. It looks really well made.

Mike - Is the RoadID strap long enough you could place it around your ankle? I think its a great idea but hate having anything on my wrists, especially when riding. Thanks - Mark
p.s. Keep up the good work - You've got a great blog!
Mark
The RoadID that I bought was for the wrist. It will not fit my ankle. Check out their website at roadid.com. They do have a version for your ankle. Same price.
Thanks for the kind words.
Mike
